Henry Reed is 2 months old

How can sweet Henry already be 2 months old? This has without a doubt been the craziest 2 months of my life. We moved halfway across the country, we sold our first home 10 months after we bought it, had a second child, flew with 2 children for the first time, lived in an empty house for 7 days, and Shawn started a new job. That is such a condensed version. Actually with 5 of the 6 things listed I have cried hard over because there were such insane difficulties, with the living in an empty house and all that went with that being the most stressful. BUT God is good. With all of that, God is good and faithful and I'm happy to be where he wants me to be. I had to make the choice to grow where I'm planted and I'm daily relying on Him to help me through.

Back to Henry..... He is a big boy. I'll find out exactly how big on Monday but lets just say right now he is snugly fitting in a 6 month onesie. All his 3 month outfits are too small both in waist and height. Henry has been such a blessing to me in this hard time. He is such a content boy and I've loved snuggling him and taking care of him. He really is a joy. I've learned I don't make the best sleepers... well at least naturally, we work on sleeping and get there eventually. Henry has had the deck stacked against him in the first place though. He hasn't had a routine or much consistency since birth.  Also he developed horrible congestion for over 3 weeks and could hardly sleep due to not being able to breathe. I had the nosefrida overnighted and I don't know if that helped or he just got over it. Either way, Praise the Lord cause I was worried! Now he's got a cough that wakes him but he's sleeping a little better.

He loves to eat and preferably will eat every 2- 2 1/2 hrs. He's not a happy boy if it's been over 3 hours. I figure to create thighs that big you  have to eat a lot and often! And since I am making the food that is making those thighs I adopt the same principle of eating often and a lot. ; )

He loves baths. He could soak in the tub all day if his sister would just relax and not throw a fit causing me to  take both kids out of the tub.

Henry's hair gets a little more red every day. We'll see what happens with that.

Here are some photos from the last few weeks.

Below is Henry and his cousin Jackson. (My cousin Candace's son) Jackson was 4 months old here. He's so sweet.

Henry's first and last day in this too tight 3 month outfit. Slow down boy!!

On the plane to Branson. It was a hard day for both of us.

Love this picture of poppy and Henry

Morning snuggles on our last days in Charlotte.

So strong!

First and last day in this outfit as well. haha

Poor boy. He's helpless against his big sister.

"Help!"

First smile
